loose diamonds
The tiny, sparkling little stones you see in the local jewelry stores are so coveted by women all over the world. There is just something about loose diamonds that make people go crazy! These little stones are used in a variety of jewelry - every kind of jewelry actually. They are even used for other industrial uses like drilling. You may have even heard of dentists using these stones to work on teeth, too. The bottom line is that diamonds should be everyone's best friend because they are amazing!

Long before loose diamonds make it into the display case at a jewelry store, they are formed within the earth. The inside of the earth is hot and contains a lot of pressure - pressure that would crush any human life form. However, there are still carbon atoms that exist in these conditions.

Some would say these carbon atoms thrive in those conditions because they form very cohesive bonds that eventually turn them into diamonds! Of course, this process takes millions of year to occur. Eventually the diamonds will be thrust towards the earth's surface and harvested by loose diamond miners. They will then be transformed into the gorgeous certified loose diamonds in your jewelry.
